Michael Ellison is the Founder and CEO of CodePath, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that partners with colleges and major tech companies to prepare underserved computer science students for careers in tech. Drawing from his own personal journey, Michael’s vision for CodePath is not only to increase diversity in tech but to also remove luck from the equation by transforming our nation’s technical education system. Prior to CodePath, Michael co-founded ClassMetric, a customer data hub that later became Segment, which was recently acquired by Twilio for $3.2B. Michael is also a founding board member of Women Who Code.
